Ololulunga-> Kisumu -> Narok

Day two - six We spent most of day two just relaxing and meeting over 50 of my cousins and nephews/nieces at the annual cousins meeting.

Since this was the first time that my sisters and I have had the chance to meet every one of our family members, we had a lot of fun catching up and hearing stories.

The elders had organized a talent competition and the kids loved it! They all danced and showed off their best dance moves in front off all of the guest.

The best ones won hundreds in Kenya shillings. I think the highest amount given was 850 ksh to this little girl named Noel.

The rain didn't stop for even one second while we were at the meeting. My mothers theory was that when soo many people get together for a meeting all of the talking creates moisture that raises into the atmosphere and this causes rain.

I think rain is a blessing, it was a blessing for the holidays.

The rest of the trip consisted of a drive to kisumu county where we met more family members and drove to a hotel outside of lake Victoria to spend the night.

The following day we began the trek back to Kisersian.

Little did I know the trip would take two whole days. But they were wonderful!

Here are the Christmas travels photographs!
